BUSKING / PRA RUA

Busking is when street performers show their art and performance and it is indeed a great and ancient occupation. Many great artists did it and millions of others are doing it right now all over the world. That's what I'll do starting next wednesday!
For I’m not happy with the way live music circuit is coped, in bars and so on, as some of their managers lean on making it ok just for ‘some’ people (friends) and also because I feel like doing it (the experience), I will, with pleasure, play on the streets, wherever I can, taking a stand and also spreading the word and the music. See you out there… (August 14 /September 16)

Busking é um termo para denominar artistas que se apresentam na rua. Mostrando a sua arte ou performance, eles estão a dar continuidade a uma interessante e antiga ocupação. Grandes artistas já o fizeram no inicio das suas carreiras e muitos milhares o fazem hoje por esse mundo fora. É o farei nas proximas semanas!

E porque nao estou nada satisfeito com a forma como o circuito de musica ao vivo é gerido em Portugal, seja em bares seja em eventos de outra escala, em que os seus managers parecem ter uma ‘tendencia’ para apoiar certos projectos e de um determinado circulo de conhecimentos; e porque tenho vontade de o fazer (pela experiencia), parto com enorme prazer para a estrada, por aí, espalhando a palavra e divulgando o meu projecto artístico. Pode ser que nos encontremos por aí... (14 Agosto / 16 Setembro)
